How can I display downloaded hidden files in the MacOS finder?

When you have downloaded files in cache from the application, some folders or files may be hidden after the file has been unzipped.

In order to display them in the MacOS finder, you need to perform the following actions.

Step-by-step guide

1. Open a terminal by clicking Finder > Applications > Utilities

2. In the terminal console, enter the following command, then press enter:

   defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

3. Close your terminal
4. Restart your Finder by clicking on the Apple logo > Force to quit > Finder > Relaunch

Your finder will restart and hidden files should now be visible.
