Mac keeps asking you for password repeatedly

 

If your system is idle for a certain period of time the keychain may be locked automatically.
So here we can prolong the duration of the Keychain Access session before automatically being asked to re-enter your password.

  1. In the Keychain Access application on your Mac, click "session" in the list of keychains.

  2. Choose Edit > Edit “session” Keychain Settings.

  3. Check the “Lock after” box and enter a number of minutes, 600 minutes could be a good standard.

  4. If you want a password to be required each time the computer goes to sleep, select the "Lock while suspended" check box.

  5. Click on Save.
